संगीत और शौक़ वो जगह है जहाँ teen English असल में इस्तेमाल होती है। Grammar सीधा है (I'm into, I'm obsessed with, I can't stand), लेकिन vocabulary तेज़ी से बदलती है — genres हर साल, slang हर महीने। School की अंग्रेज़ी में past tense का अभ्यास होता है, लेकिन कभी कुछ "sick" या "a vibe" नहीं होता।

इन lessons में teens अपनी असली पसंद के बारे में बात करते हैं — वो band जो वो repeat पर सुन रहे हैं, वो game जो वो छोड़ नहीं पाते, वो शौक़ जो माँ-पापा नहीं समझते। टीचर हर पसंद को seriously लेते हैं, niche bands के बारे में genuinely पूछते हैं, और कभी पैट्रनाइज़ नहीं करते। कुछ lessons बाद casual teen English की rhythm natural लगने लगती है।

किसी चीज़ में फ़िलहाल बहुत interest होना। "I'm into [X]" = मुझे अभी [X] बहुत पसंद है।

obsessed with

किसी चीज़ को इतना पसंद करना कि उसके बारे में सोचना बंद न हो। "into" से भी ज़्यादा strong।

"I'm obsessed with this new game."

can't stand

किसी चीज़ को बिल्कुल पसंद न करना। "love" का natural opposite।

"I can't stand country music, sorry."

किसी चीज़ को politely पसंद न करना — बिना उसे insult किए।

नैचुरल

I really like this band.

"Like" एक stative verb है — आमतौर पर "I am liking" नहीं कहते। "I really like" या "I love" इस्तेमाल करो।

सांस्कृतिक बातें

★English-speaking teen culture में "into" current interest के लिए सबसे natural शब्द है। "I'm into indie" — "I am very interested in indie music" से कहीं ज़्यादा natural लगता है।
★UK और US में hobby names अलग होते हैं: UK में "do drama club", US में "are in theatre"; UK "football" = US "soccer"। जो तुम्हारा tutor इस्तेमाल करे, वही follow करो।
