These terms describe what we offer and the rules for using the site at tospeak.ai. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.
What Tospeak is
Tospeak is an English practice tool: AI tutors you can talk to over real-time video. The tutors are not human, and the lessons are generated by an AI model.
AI is not a teacher and not an authority
The tutors will sometimes be wrong. Treat what they say the way you would treat anything generated by a machine: useful for practice, never the final word. Do not rely on Tospeak for medical, legal, financial, or any other professional advice.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Tospeak to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm any person.
- Generate content that is illegal where you live, or that depicts the sexual exploitation of children.
- Probe, scrape, or attack the service.
- Misrepresent yourself as Tospeak or as one of our tutors.
- Use automated tools to flood the system with requests.
We may stop serving anyone who violates these rules.
Your content
When you speak during a lesson, the text of your speech is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply, and to our avatar provider (LiveAvatar) to make the tutor speak it. We don’t claim ownership of what you say. See the privacy policy for the data flow.
Intellectual property
The site design, code, brand, and tutor personas are ours. Avatar likenesses and voices are licensed from LiveAvatar / HeyGen. Don’t copy, scrape, or republish them without permission.
Service availability
We do our best to keep the site working, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third-party APIs (Anthropic, LiveAvatar, your browser’s speech recognition) and any of them can be down at any moment.
No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of Tospeak. Our total liability under these terms is limited to USD 100.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
